Bored this weekend? How about some extreme sports...while ironing. Extreme sports, defined as an activity with an inherent danger to the participant, has taken on a tongue-in-cheek identity with the popular and funny extreme ironing trend. The official website for extreme ironing explains it as “the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt.” Popular locations conquered by this “sport” include ironing on a mountainside, forest, and underwater. Check out some of the heated (yup...pun totally intended) ironing adventures and prepare to laugh out loud.
